New this Week

Magic SlaysMagic Slays
Book #5

No introduction needed for this series. I'm a big fan of this author team and this series. Looking forward to diving as soon as get my hot little hands on this book.  A great Shifter series, about a tough magical heroine & a cute Alpha Shifter.  The Vamps in this series aren't your run of the mill sexy predators.

Dead on the DeltaDead on the Delta
Book #1

I'm looking forward to reading this YA author's debut into adult UF. Once upon a time, fairies were the stuff of bedtime stories and sweet dreams. Then came the mutations, and the dre-ams became nightmares. Mosquito-size fairies now indulge their taste for human blood—and for most humans, a fairy bite means insanity or death. Luckily, Annabelle Lee isn’t most humans. The hard-drinking, smart-mouthed, bicycle-riding redhead is immune to fairy venom, and able to do the dirty work most humans can’t. Including helping law enforcement— and Cane Cooper, the bayou’s sexiest detective—collect evidence when a body is discovered outside the fairy-proof barricades of her Louisiana town.

DemonDemon
Book #2

I surprisingly enjoyed the first book (Raziel) of this new PNR series, and I can't wait to read more soon.  Reminiscent of  Ward's BDB series.  This well written & engaging PNR series is about a group of fallen angels at war, and are cursed with the task of ferrying souls to their next life.  The first book starts off with Raziel finding himself  in trouble when a antagonistic woman refuses to cross over.   Each book focuses on a different fallen angel.

Book #2  (Jun 1st)

The 2nd book in this trilogy, from one of my favorite authors.  My thoughts on Feed:  Mira Grant, or McGuire to Toby Daye fans, is a great writer; which is definitely evident from her eloquently written zombie book-Feed. At 600 pages, the first novel is a bit long, but very strong indeed. Not being a huge fan of its political/news focus, the questionable brother-sister dynamic, or the blog entries for multi-character POV; I can still recognize this book as a must read for any zombie/UF fan.

I'm a fan of this author, but can't say much about this series, as I've never felt inclined to delve in.
